Steve's Secret

It was a bright sunny morning in Mobius, and on that sunny morning, Steve was fixing up his new vehicles, a fast motorcycle and a wheel covered open wheel fast car, both to match Sonic's speed, lately in the past few days, Steve has done a lot of good deeds to his friends, he helped Sonic defeat Dr. Eggman for the umpteenth time, he helped Tails fix up his plane, he built Knuckles a small house next by the ruins, he played with Cream when we was watching over her, and his friends are happy about his actions.

That afternoon, he decided to ride his bike around the village, the bike was so fast, Steve began shouting of excitement, in which Sonic heard as he was relaxing on the tree branch, "Looks like someone's having fun down there", Sonic thought as he got down from the tree branch, then he sped down the village to catch up with him, and he did minutes later, "Fast little machine there!", Sonic yelled, "Yeah, fixed it up myself, it really does come in handy!", Steve yelled as he continued riding the bike, many minutes later, he and Sonic stopped at a cliff with a good view of Station Square, "It's peaceful, I like it", Steve said as he looked out of town, "Yeah, I agree, at least there's no trouble out here", Sonic replied and Steve nodded, "You know, I'm throwing a party this weekend, so I was wondering if you like to come", Sonic asked, "Sure, I like to come", Steve replied as he gave a thumbs up.

The weekend came, and Sonic and the gang was all in Sonic's front yard at the party, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Steve was throwing a Frisbee, with Amy and Cream watching them, Shadow was standing next to a tree in the shade, Silver and Rouge flying around, Blaze sunbathing, ant the Chaotics throwing a ball, everything was going perfect in the party, then Sonic raised his glass of soda up and said, "A toast, to Steve, one of the awesomeness dudes I've ever met, and also the coolest", the gang raised their glasses as Steve smiled and gave them all a thumbs up, then they all took a drink of soda, then all continued the party.

An hour had passed and the party kept going strong, mostly everyone was on the dance floor dancing except for Steve and Victor, "Party's going well, I'm enjoying it", Steve said as Victor was watching the dancing, "Yeah, I guess, though something is bothering me", Victor replied as Steve got confused, "Why did they made. Toast of you?", Victor asked, "Well it's because of my good deeds I've done for everyone, and also killing that fake demon wannabe of Sonic", Steve replied, "I don't see how there's another Sonic, other than  Shadow and Silver", "Well you're wrong, there was another one, well a demon disguised as him in other terms", Victor rolled his eyes as if Steve was lying, "I don't think it's true, I think your marking that up", Steve started to get angry, "Are you calling me a liar, I did fight him, and I did kill him", "Yeah right, whatever you say", Steve became more angry, "Hey, I did kill him, I saved your life, I saved everyone's lives because of that, if I didn't, none of you would be standing here right now!", Steve said as he got up, "And if I wasn't here to save them, they and you would be his slaves and you would beg and plead for someone to help and no one to help you!", Steve yelled as he and Victor continued arguing, Sonic and the gang stopped dancing and saw them arguing, Sonic was going to stop them arguing, but Steve angerly left and got on his bike and sped away, everyone looked at Victor and Sonic then ran to Steve.

Sonic eventually found Steve, sitting near the cliff, "Steve are you ok?", Sonic asked as sat down next to Steve, "I'm ok now, I just needed away from there", Steve replied, Sonic got worried, "I really don't know what got to Victor, he never acted like that before", Sonic said as Steve got up, "Well, whatever happened to him got the best of me alright, I just needed some distance from him", Steve said as he walked close to Sonic, "Sonic, there's something I need to tell you, it's something I wanted to tell for a long time", "What is it bud?", Sonic replied as Steve took of his right fingerless glove and showed him a mark, "What is that?!", Sonic said in shock, "I was branded with this when I was young, when I was very young, I was abducted from my family, by the Lin Kuei clan", Steve answered as Sonic gotten even more shocked, "The Lin Kuei trained me to become a thief and assassin, every year they've trained me, but then, I've escaped the clan cause they was gonna turn every member like me into a cyborg", Steve continued as Sonic got even more worried, "Luckly I found some portal to this world where I met you Sonic", Sonic then put his hand on Steve's shoulder, "I was afraid to tell you this before cause I feared you wouldn't like me if I did", Steve said as a small tear came out of his eye, Sonic was concerned and said, "Hey, I wouldn't be mad at ya bud, especially how much of a cool dude you are", Steve smiled as Sonic patted his shoulder, "Besides, anyone who has Eggman scared is a cool dude in my book", Sonic continued as Steve got up, "Your a cool dude Sonic, no doubt about it", Steve replied as him and Sonic both gave a thumbs up and they both returned to the party.

The next day, everything was back to normal and Steve was tuning up his bike and car, once he got done, Sonic stopped at his garage and said, "Tuning up the vehicles I see", "Yep, just finishing up here, just in case if Egghead does make a move", Steve replied as he put away his tools and rolled his bike out of his garage, "So you doing ok bud?", Sonic asked, "Yeah I'm doing good so far", Steve replied as Sonic smiled as Tails flew to Sonic and Steve, "Guys, Eggman is at it again, he's causing havoc in Station Square", Tails said as Sonic and Steve were not that surprised, "We'll be on our way Tails", Steve said as Tails flew to town and Steve climbed to his bike, "Well it's a good thing you got that bike tuned up huh?", Sonic asked as he got ready, "Yeah, let's do this", Steve said as Sonic nodded and ran to town and Steve followed him on his bike, as they both sped to Station Square to stop Dr. Eggman yet again.
